ABOUT
About Kraken Networks
Deep infrastructure for intelligent systems.
Mission
AI agents are proliferating faster than the infrastructure to govern them. Kraken Networks builds the missing layers — governance, routing, and orchestration — so organizations can deploy agents with confidence, not hope.
We believe that trust in autonomous systems comes from transparent, auditable enforcement at runtime. Not from prompt engineering. Not from after-the-fact logging. From rules that execute before the agent acts.
Approach
Every product in the Kraken stack is open source and designed for composition. Fathom can run standalone as a governance engine. Nautilus can mesh any agent network. Railyard can orchestrate workflows across providers. Use one, use all — they're built to layer.
We build for regulated environments first. If a system satisfies DoD-grade classification requirements, it works everywhere else by default. Security isn't a feature we bolt on — it's the foundation we build from.
Why Open Source
Governance infrastructure must be inspectable. If you can't read the code that decides whether your agent is allowed to act, you don't actually have governance — you have a vendor dependency. We ship everything under permissive licenses so teams can audit, extend, and self-host.
Team
Kraken Networks is a small team of infrastructure engineers and security practitioners based in Herndon, Virginia. We've built distributed systems at scale, operated in classified environments, and seen firsthand what breaks when autonomous agents don't have guardrails.
