// about · kraken networks

Infrastructure for agents you can actually trust.

Kraken Networks builds the governance plane for autonomous systems. We started from a simple position: an agent you cannot audit is an agent you cannot deploy, not in a hospital, not in a bank, not behind a security clearance.

// the thesis

Determinism is a feature, not a limitation.

Probabilistic models are extraordinary at proposing. They are terrible at promising. The moment an agent touches a regulated system, you need a layer that says no the same way every time, and can prove why.

So we separate the work from the rules. Models reason; a deterministic runtime governs. Every decision is rule-routed, attested, and replayable. That separation is the whole product: reasoning, data, action, and orchestration, each behind its own policy.

// principles
01
Deterministic over probabilistic.

Where it matters, the same input gives the same decision, and a trail that explains it.

02
Open by default.

The reasoning core is open source. You should be able to read the layer you're trusting.

03
Terse tooling.

Built engineer-to-engineer. No dashboards you'll never open, no ceremony you don't need.

04
Audit everything.

Every read, every action, every decision attested. If it happened, you can replay it.

// where we are

Herndon, Virginia.

A small, dense team of systems and security engineers in the DC metro, close to the agencies and operators who care most about provable governance. We work in the open and ship in production.
